The TRX proudly launches in the 2021 model year as an all-new trim for the RAM 1500. In addition to being a new trim, the TRX takes the spot as the latest high-end version of the RAM 1500. With its seat at the top, the TRX brings many features to the table for consumers. The TRX starts with all the standard amenities found in the Limited trim, which is just below the TRX and adds unique standard features. Top-notch safety technology and a list of available options are other highlights you'll find for the 2021 TRX. The TRX also has its engine specially designed for performance, called the Hellcat, that delivers more than 700 HP to the TRX trim.
One of the main attractions for the 2021 TRX is its mechanical system. There is plenty of power to satisfy even the most demanding need for speed with the Hellcat engine, a supercharged V8 engine designed for fast acceleration and power. The engine produces more than 700 HP at best, matched with 650 LB-FT in peak torque. Rear-wheel drive is standard for the TRX, while four-wheel drive is available. An automatic transmission is standard.
There are also some notable interior additions for the 2021 TRX. A full set of advanced safety aids are included in the TRX, such as a top-down camera that gives you a clear view of your surroundings and a handy reverse camera designed for safer and precise towing. The TRX also has the largest display screen available in the 1500 lineup, a 12-inch display, and it has some standard wireless charging capabilities with additional wireless charging pads available.
